Mr. Justin Garcia is a professional singer, multi-instrumentalist and passionate music educator who was featured as a Top 16 artist on Season 25 of NBC’s The Voice.
Since joining FMMA, Mr. Justin has continued to grow as an inspiring and engaging teacher. His outstanding work during FMMA’s summer camp demonstrated his natural ability to connect with young musicians, lead group activities and help students develop greater confidence both musically and personally.
Mr. Justin teaches guitar, ukulele, voice and bass to beginning through advancing students. Drawing from his real-world performance experience, he helps students develop strong technique, musical creativity, stage presence and the confidence to express themselves through music.
Energetic, encouraging and relatable, Mr. Justin creates a positive learning environment where every student feels supported, motivated and excited to learn and perform.

Ms. Sue Yang is the founder and director of First Movement Music Academy. Since establishing FMMA in 2010, she has devoted herself to creating a welcoming and inspiring music community where students of all ages can receive exceptional instruction, build confidence and develop a lifelong love of music.
With a strong commitment to educational quality, Ms. Sue thoughtfully selects and supports accomplished teachers who combine professional expertise with genuine care for their students. She works closely with faculty and families to create personalized learning experiences while maintaining high standards for musicianship, communication and student development.
Under her leadership, FMMA has grown into a vibrant academy offering private instruction, group programs, performance opportunities, summer camps and community events. She is continually developing creative programs that give students meaningful opportunities to learn, collaborate and shine on stage.
As both an academy director and a parent, Ms. Sue understands that every student develops differently. She believes music education should be rigorous yet encouraging, structured yet joyful, and always tailored to the individual child.
Known for her energy, creativity and unwavering dedication, Ms. Sue remains deeply involved in every aspect of the academy. Her greatest joy is watching students grow—not only into capable musicians, but also into confident, expressive and resilient individuals.
