Brazos Creative is a year-round music school.

Students are able to sign up for lessons at any time. We offer different billing options to cater to different student’s needs.

Please contact us at (469) 444-0612 or enrollment@brazos-creative.com to sign up.

We have multiple performance opportunities for students annually , which students are highly encouraged to participate in.

Group and Summer Programs are offered on a teacher-availability basis. If these classes are offered, they are at an additional fee to regular tuition. Students are able to

participate in group and summer programs even if they are not "regularly scheduled" students during the year. Not all Group & Summer Programs will participate in studio recitals or other performances. Registration will be posted online and payment can be made through links on the website or sent to your email.

Communication

Emails and texts are Brazos Creative’s primary form of communication. Please make sure we have a current email and phone number on file. We want you to have a great experience at Brazos Creative!

Lessons and Programs

Tuition: Various tuition options are available. Please contact Brazos Creative for more details.
Lesson Duration: Private music lessons are 30 minutes each, Group Lessons are 40 minutes each, and Board Game Groups are between 1.5 - 2 hours each
Billing: We require payment in full at the time of registration for private lessons, group, or summer programs. Deposits are non-refundable.
- Time Extension Guarantee: 1 year contracts include our time extension guarantee. If you are on vacation/break for 1-3 months, you can extend your program, and we will credit the months immediately following the one-year term. In order to activate the time extension benefit, you must fill out the Time Extension Notice Form. We do not pause payments. Time extensions are NOT make-up lessons (see make-up lesson policy for make-up lesson details).
- All tuition options include the cost of required studio materials, and recital fees.
- Invoices are sent digitally. All payments are made through a bank transfer, debit, or credit card. A late fee of $25 will be automatically added to unpaid invoices after 7 days.
- Other materials, books, instruments, and other accessories are additional costs expected to be paid by the client. Most of these materials can be invoiced and purchased through the studio.
Summer Lessons: Our studio is open in the summertime! For summer vacations or breaks longer than one month we have a time extension guarantee, available only for our year-long agreements.
Holidays and planned breaks are built into tuition. Tuition is the same cost each month. See our studio calendar for more details.

Scheduling and Makeup Policy

Private Lessons: When you enroll, you work with our scheduler and will be assigned a lesson time. You are to attend lessons at your assigned time every week. Your assigned lesson time may be changed, based on availability.
24-Hour Notice: We ask that if you cannot make it to your lesson to let us know 24-hours in advance to allow the teacher to prepare for a virtual lesson or send feedback videos.

Because your time is important to us and consistency in lessons is invaluable, converting to virtual lessons will be the default response. If the illness is severe enough to merit a total absence, please see the Makeups and Teacher Absences section below.
Makeups: There are no refunds for missed lessons. Your lesson time is reserved exclusively for you. Brazos Creative does not assume any responsibility for missed lessons for any reason. If students need to miss for any reason, with proper communication and 24-hour notice they may:
- participate in virtual lessons OR
- receive video recorded instruction OR

Teacher Absences: If a teacher is absent for a scheduled lesson we will notify you as soon as possible. To reconcile a teacher absence Brazos Creative will either provide a qualified substitute teacher, or reschedule an in-person or virtual lesson.
