Music Production Trial Lesson

Brandon is an electronic music producer and instructor with more than eight years of experience in music production and sound design. He teaches Ableton Live and DJing with Pioneer and Numark controllers, with expertise in Serato. His lessons cover mixing and mastering, sound design, song structure, layering, and the essential skill of finishing original music. Brandon guides beginners step by step while helping experienced producers refine their sound in styles including melodic dubstep, trance, and house. Performing as Lonehaven, he has appeared at venues such as DNA Lounge and festivals including Breakaway, with releases through Jade City Records.

David is a third-generation Bay Area musician with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in music production, recording, and vocal performance. Since 2004, he has created music across hip-hop, rap, R&B, and other genres, specializing in building songs from writing and recording through production and mixing. David is highly experienced with Pro Tools and Native Instruments Maschine and has completed Pro Tools 101 and 201 certifications through Ohlone College. His lessons cover Pro Tools fundamentals, beat making, vocal recording, mixing, gear selection, and home-studio setup using practical techniques students can apply immediately.

Tomas is an artist, producer, and mix engineer with an Associate’s Degree in Music Industry Studies and nearly a decade of experience using FL Studio. He began producing beats in 2018 and has since produced, mixed, and mastered a full album entirely within FL Studio. Tomas specializes in hip-hop and rap while also working in indie pop and indie rock. His lessons cover beat making, arrangement, production, mixing, and mastering, giving students a practical path from an initial idea to a finished track. He believes the right guidance can help anyone confidently bring their musical ideas to life.
