I’m a violinist and UCLA graduate who believes deeply in music as a shared, human experience. My work as a performer has taken me through a range of orchestral settings, and I’m currently a Fellow with the San Francisco Academy Orchestra, where I continue to grow as both a musician and collaborator.
Alongside my musical training, my time at UCLA included extensive study of life sciences. Exploring subjects like microbiology, developmental biology, and psychobiology shaped the way I think about learning and performance. Through this interdisciplinary lens—and my work with the Alexander Technique, I came to appreciate the powerful connection between body and mind and how awareness, ease, and curiosity can transform the way we approach the violin.
As an educator, I strive to create a supportive, thoughtful environment where students feel seen, capable, and encouraged to develop both technical skill and personal expression. I value clear communication, patience, and meeting students where they are, knowing that music grows best with a strong sense of trust and community.
